Going back to school was a challenge. But Basic Design class in my first semester is what motivated me to finish this certification process. I can see why this great college has it in it’s course work. All I can say is, “THANK YOU, DUSTY DOMINO”.
Best class at Northark! Just my humble opinion. PS I am still not artist, but it’s the process that is the most important to me. I don’t have the best artistic or computer skills, but I will live an even more rewarding life because of this time at Northark. Thank you to my instructors and my fellow students. Perhaps you can see why I say, “I’m not an artist”. But, this was part of my creative process that I not expored in years and years. And, no, it wasn’t a railroad sign. Here is the finished product. The first “artwork” that I have painted in many years. PS Brian is in this image too. See him? Our #62 has been here with me in spirit my entire l.5 years in Harrison. I hope that I honor his memory. If nothing,, I sometimes laugh out loud when I think of the comments he would make teasing me.Complimentary colors are my favorite! This was a project for Mrs. Arnold’s class my first semester here at North Ark. I just loved the image and of course, the colors. Red always reminds me of PHS and green make me think of Marshall. Two happy places and two happy colors.
