My portfolio showcases various projects created throughout my time at North Arkansas College. See my contact information below and get in touch. I love to work!

Love – Work

I have only been to Hawaii once but these are the things that I loved about it. So I created this postcard in my first semester at Northark. I learned at Northark to use a sketch book to put my ideas on paper and design.
I drew out this postcard layout, labeling what type of photos and where I wanted to place them in the design. I made a folder with the pictures I selected. The planning process in design is very important.
Turkeys Galore; A homework assignment from Mrs. Arnold. Every flyer should let people know “Who, what, when, where, and why”. I did so creatively. I’m not sure what my grade was but my family loved this!
These are my grandsons, Jack and Michael. This picture was taken April 2019 when my family flew me to Florida for Patrick’s wedding. Michael’s face was completely black and unrecognizable until Image Editing this semester.
We had the same assignment for 2 classes; “How is it going in Week 15”. I got creative in my Image Editing Class and used pictures to tell my story. The Infamous Chicken got Covid-19 and had ripple effects on his beak.
My favorite line was what Homework was like week 15. Books were flying, I applied a band-aid, watched some tutorials, cried, and then decided “I’d rather be golfing.” 🙂
This was a very fun project for me. The assignment gave us total choice. It was to find a tutorial, follow it, and post our final project. I think this a great way to store and use photos.
I made this with over 140 photos about MU and a great kid at the beach picture. It took hours and days to line up all those photos but I cherished the time and the memories. Mrs. Arnold said, “I love this. Great job.”
Texture Project
My favorite homework from my class with Dusty Domino. It was “Texture”. I kept telling him, “I am not an artist.” But he encouraged me and helped me and I just loved the experience of being in a studio and exploring.
It was engaging and rewarding to explore my design ideas. Spacing and alignment are very important to me. I just learned so much about art, design, and myself.

North Arkansas College; Digital Media/Social Media. I have learned and I have loved this experience.

Let’s build something together.

Shooting for the moon. Dreaming of where my new digital and marketing skills will take me. Grounded in years of experience but flexible to learn, grow, and encourage others.

I made a collage in Photoshop/Image Editing class. I used a bright, interesting ferris wheel in the now part and an old faded one in my future. Even when time fades an item, it doesn’t affect the fun and beauty you find in it. Can you find the cat, mouse, Marshall gnome and flying bird that doesn’t normally fly? How about my representation of “strong” and “”loud”? I blended some items and left natural blocks in others. This was an amazing learning experience for me and “therapy” thinking about things that make me smile.
